This Cranberry Turkey Sliders recipe is perfect for those holiday meals where there are lots of people coming over or if you’re hosting an event at home like a party or potluck dinner.

This recipe requires just a few ingredients (you may even have them on hand) and takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish making it easy enough for even last-minute cooks like me! Plus, it’s so easy to double or triple the batch of sandwiches for a large crowd.

This recipe also works great for game nights and would be perfect for a super bowl party. And, if you have leftover turkey from your holiday dinner, you could totally substitute the deli slices for roasted turkey!

And finally, you can make these Cranberry Turkey Sliders ahead of time and take them to a potluck dinner for a quick and easy dish.

Equipment Needed to Make Turkey Sliders with Cranberry Sauce

  • 9 x 13 baking dish
  • medium mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients Needed for Turkey Cranberry Sliders

Sandwiches

  • 12 Hawaiian Rolls (1 package)
  • 8 oz. deli turkey slices
  • 8 oz. swiss cheese
  • 3/4 cup cranberry sauce

Topping

  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp. Spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Poppy seeds
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries

How to Make Turkey Cranberry Sliders

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 

Step 2: Slice Hawaiian rolls in half and place in a casserole dish.

Step 3: Spread ¾ cup cranberry sauce bottom of the rolls. Top the cranberry sauce with sliced turkey. Place the sliced swiss cheese on top of the turkey slices. Add top of rolls on top of the swiss cheese. 

Step 4: In a small mixing bowl, melt stick of butter. Combine butter, ¼ cranberry sauce, spicy brown mustard, worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds together and mix until well combined and lumps are gone.

Step 5: Pour mixture over sandwiches. Top with ¼ cup dried cranberries.

Step 6: Bake in oven for 15 – 20 minutes or until rolls are golden brown and cheese has melted. Serve and enjoy!

These turkey sliders are rich and so yummy! Some of my favorite ideas of what to serve with Cranberry Turkey Sliders are:

Popular Substitutions for Cranberry Turkey Sliders

The Cranberry Sauce: You could substitute canned cranberry jelly with whole cranberry sauce and homemade cranberry sauce would be delicious as well.

The Meat: And you could totally replace the deli turkey slices with your favorite deli meat (or even vegetarian deli slices would work! You could use leftover turkey from your holiday meal too.

The Cheese: You can use your favorite sliced cheese in place of the swiss cheese in this recipe.

How to Reheat and Store Cranberry Turkey Sliders

Best Way to Store Leftover Cranberry Turkey Sliders

Wrap your baking dish with plastic wrap, or transfer the leftover sliders to a plastic or glass container with a lid. Store in the refrigerator.

Party tip: Prepare Ahead!

These sliders can be made the night before your event. Just assemble all of the ingredients as directed. Then, instead of baking right away, cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator overnight. When you’re ready to bake, preheat oven as directed and bake for about 25 minutes.

How Long Will Turkey Cranberry Sliders Last in the Fridge?

You can keep your leftover Cranberry Turkey Sliders in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 days.

Can You Freeze Cranberry Turkey Sliders?

If you’d like to make these Turkey Sliders ahead of time and freeze them, you can! Simply wrap the Cranberry Turkey Sliders well or place in a freezer container. Be sure to label the container and include the baking instructions so you aren’t left wondering later.

These sandwiches will keep in the freezer for up to two months.

When you’re ready to bake these sandwiches, remove from the freezer the night before and let them thaw in your refrigerator. Then, go ahead and bake at 375 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes.

How to Reheat Cranberry Turkey Sliders

If you have leftover turkey sliders, you can totally eat them cold, but reheating is easy. Just wrap in aluminum foil and warm in the oven at 300 degrees for about 15 minutes or until heated through.
