Vintage Spring Home Decor Haul + Antiquing

A couple weeks ago I went shopping at one of the largest antique malls in the Chattanooga, TN area. Today I’m sharing my spring home decor haul and vintage finds with you!

I’d never been to the Mercantile at the Ridge before but I had seen the billboards for it many time! We had spent the weekend in Atlanta, Georgia at my parents house and on Sunday we went shopping for Hannah’s wedding gown – she’s getting married in November!

On Monday I went out to eat lunch with my daughter Emily and then she went back to work. Since I was in the Chattanooga area, I decided it was a good day to check out the Mercantile before I headed home on Tuesday.

This place was huge! I spent so much time in there and honestly, there were so many things I wish I had bought. I’m on a pretty tight budget so a lot of times I just look and dream, you know? 🙂

Vintage Spring Home Decor Haul

Here’s what I did buy:

The first thing I got was this ceramic wall hanging of pastel colored fruits. The back says it was made in Italy. I paid $15.99 for it.

The next thing I bought was a pair of doilies or table scarfs. I love the delicate look of the daily and the eyelet fabric of the table scarf just seems so sweet to me. Not sure yet how I’m going to use them. The doily was $3.50 and I think the scarf was $5.00.

Aren’t those pretty?

Okay the next thing I picked up was this sweet little pink and blue McCoy bowl. My daughter Hannah is collecting this pattern so I will probably give this to her next time I see her! This little bowl was $5.00

And I just loved these vintage spools tied with a piece of fabric. I got 2 sets of them (so 6 spools or spindles). Just so sweet! They were $8.00 per set.

Okay and then finally, I grabbed this little vintage butter churn. It was missing the lid but that’s okay because I’ll probably use it as a vase or maybe to hold kitchen utensils. It was $10.50.

Target Spring Decor Haul

Finally, I picked up a few floral items from Target to use in my spring decor. I thought these were so pretty and simple.

I’ll have to share how I style everything in another blog post! Let me know what you would do with them in the comments below. I’m spending today doing some spring cleaning and I’ll be working on spring decor this week!

Have you decorated for spring? Are you ready for Easter? I’m so behind this year because I’ve been traveling the last couple of months almost non-stop. It’s nice to be home and I’m excited to get some things done around the house this week. Let me know in the comments what you’re up to!

I’m at the mertile at the ridge in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is my first visit to this shop, known as the largest antique mall in the area, according to billboards I’ve seen on I75. Today, after lunch with my daughter Emily, I decided to explore it before heading back to Kentucky. Let’s see what we find.

This place is vast, filled with spring decor. Each booth is uniquely decorated, making it hard to choose what to take home. I was specifically looking for spring decorations, and I’m excited to show you my finds once I get back.

This week has been hectic. Since my last video, I visited Georgia to stay with my parents in Atlanta. My daughters and I went shopping for my daughter Hannah’s wedding gown. The wedding is in November, and we also have a wedding in August for my daughter Emily. It’s a joyful year.

I also visited the mertile at the ridge, located off Exit 1 on I75, in the East Ridge section of Chattanooga. It’s been on my list for years, and it’s as large as the billboards claim, offering a great variety of items at various price points.

I bought several items, mainly focused on spring decor. These include a ceramic wall hanging from Italy, delicate doilies, a linen table runner with a vintage vibe, pink and blue striped bowls for my daughter Hannah, a butter churn for kitchen utensils, and decorative spindles.

At Target, I found faux tulips, floral pieces for the family room, and items to refresh my spring decor. I’ll be decorating for spring and Easter once I return from a trip to New York City with my daughter Lura.

I hope you enjoyed this haul. Let me know which items you liked best and how you would use them in your home. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more videos. Take care.
